While Fugazi have never ‘officially’ broken up, their hiatus is taking on epicly permanent proportions. So it’s good to see their engine room of Brendan Canty (drums) and Joe Lally (bass) has formed a new band with guitarist Anthony Pirog called The Messthetics.

Fully instrumental, the first taster Serpent Tongue lays down their typical solidity with some inspired guitar work entwining itself in and around like said track title.
