You’ve got to respect the kinds of people who decide to ride a bicycle across Europe unsupported, like it’s a normal thing to do.

I have a few friends who love this race, including the two-time winner Kristof Allegaert of Jaegher and Breadwinner’s Clem Shovel. The thing is, they seem kinda normal, until they finish their second beer and declare they are off to do another 150km before dinner.

You also have to respect the race organisers who send the riders off the start line and straight up the Muur. R-E-S-P-E-C-T indeed.
