Zero To Hero
I’ve seen enough edits of fixies being ridden with careless abandon through the urban environment to last me a lifetime (it took about three to reach my limit). I hate the way that they portray “cyclists” as underdog heroes and motor vehicles or even pedestrians as the oppressive “mainstream” enemy.
However…what this guys says is probably true for a lot of us. Even though most of us would struggle to consider ourselves as athletes, jumping on a bike provides the rush and/or escapism that we crave. Whether it’s focusing on avoiding death on a busy road, dropping into a rutty chute and hanging on for dear life, or just looking around after pedaling to the top and realising that the view is amazing.
Don’t do drugs. Do bikes!
SAME BUT DIFFERENT
