Alexandra has to be one of our favourite places to ride a mountain bike. The rockscapes are otherworldly in their formations, the wide openness and expansive views unlike anywhere else in the country. And the trails, well if like your terrain natural and your descents long and fast, this is the place.

Former JAFA Phil Oliver knows it only too well, having moved to the Central Otago over twenty years ago, and now is helping to drive the development of more new trail networks in the area.
